Дорнод аймгийн Гурванзагал сумын Баян-Эрхтийн хийд Хуучнаар Сэцэн хан аймгийн Манлай вангийн хошуу, одоогийн Дорнод аймгийн Гурванзагал сумын нутагт, тал хээрийн бүсэд, Баян-Эрхтийн айргийн сархиагт, сумын төвөөс баруун зүгт 35 км-т Баян-Эрхтийн хийд буюу, Баян Эрх нуурын хурал оршиж байжээ. Аман эх сурвалж: Баян-Эрхтийн хийд буюу хурал нь цөөхөн ламтай, жилдээ ганцхан удаа намартаа хурал хурдаг цагийн хуралтай, чулуун дугантай газар байсан. Хурлын тэргүүн лам нь Гарваан багш, Гарваан лам гэж байсан. 1938,39 оны үед хурал ном нь зогсоод хаагдсан. Description of location :
Occupies steppe range located 35 km. west of the sum centre. In the west is a valley named Khonkhor, in the north is an owoo, Bayan-Khutag. Bordering along the back of the site is an area called Bayan-Erkhtiin Airgiin Sarkhia where it is hard to walk due to the uneven earth surface and in the west of the temple was a lake called Bayan-Erkhtiin Airgiin Nuur which is now dried up. To,the north of Bayan-Khutag is a worshiped owoo named Erdenebayasgalan Owoo.

Site status at the time of survey :
There are two sections where the temple bases are noticeable. The first base is square shaped and to its south is an adjoining circular shaped ger base. These sites had ashlar foundations. The north of the temple was occupied by a kitchen house and on its base are 2 stove holes arranged with stones.
