Description of location :
The site is located in the valley of Dund Jargalant, which is located on the right bank of Bulgan river. The spring of the river is from the lake Tuvshin the area in the Altain mountain range. The mountains in the area are covered in a sparse forest. No towns are nearby. A sacred site where the local monks were picking juniper is 15 km. from the sum centre in the Dund Jargalant valley. Also there is an ovoo that was worshiped by the head of Dashchoinkhorlin monastery of Altain Uriankhai origin Da lama Chultem. Locals call it Da lama ovoo. It is 20 km. from the site. The majority in the area are Kazakhs and they call it TheState lama ovoo.

There are a few remains of the old monastery. There are 3-4 dirt remains of small buildings. At the centre of the site there are big white dirt remains of a big building. The white ruins are visible from a distance. There are white and dark bricks at the site. They differ from the red bricks that were fired later in the area. Also there are many broken tiles from the temple roofs. Locals say that the blue bricks from the site were loaded on camels and used to build the school in Khovd province.
