Notes :
People of an ethnic origin called Chogdon Khuntaij initially built this monastery, Tsagaan Khadnii Khiid, which was set up just after the Brass Temple had been built. Based on the distinct shrines each temple had at the altar, these temples were separated into two different units. One unit was relocated to the northeast and renamed itself Chandmaniin Khiid. The unit that remained on the site was called Tsagaan Khadnii Khiid.
