Description of location :
The sum centre is 58 km. from the country’s border. Shavariin river comes across 20 m. to the west, Khorkhoiliin Zuraa Mountain is to the east, Shavariin Am and Nogoon River to the south. The sum Tsetserleg is located on the north border of the 2nd Brigade and is part of an open plain zone. An owoo, Nogoon Goliin (Green River), is located 3 km. southwest of the temple site.

The dirt embankment which makes up the three temple bases is slightly convex and the entrance foundation stones remain almost intact. The temple base is covered by densely grown plants and grass which makes it hard to spot from a distance.

Notes :
The main temple was called “Gandandarjaalin” which is also called by the locals Kharuuliin Khural ( The Warden Temple) because it was the only temple along the northern border. When the temple was established, it was built for “Tsagiin Khural” a ritual practiced by Tesiin Khuree branch. The monks were stripped of their titles and arrested in 1937 resulting in the temple closure. The building materials were used by the farm union for fuel until 1950s.
Before this closure, the temple’s unzad (chanting master) was Gombodorj and its khamba (abbot) was Ochir tsorji.
