Очир ваанийн хурал Өндөр улаан сумын 2-р баг болох Хануу багийн нутагт Хнауун голын хойд хөвөө Түмэртийн эх гэдэг газарт байх энэ дуганыг 1850-иад оны үед Нанзад гэвш гэдэг хүн үүсгэн байгуулжээ.1910-аад оныг хүртэл 20 гаруй ламтай байнгын хуралтай байсан энэ дуганд 1910-аад оноос хойш зөвхөн дүйцэн өдрүүдээр цагийн хурал хуах болсон байна.Дүйцэн өдрүүдэд 10 орчим лам цуглаж хурах ба бусад үед тахилч лам бүхий мөнх зултай байв.Уг хурал 1930-аад оны үеэр бүр мөсөн хаагдсан ба дуганы туурь нь энэхүү Төмөртийн хөндий хэмээх газрын адагт байх Дарь эхийн дуганаас 17 км орчим зайтай байна.

The site is located in the Tumurt valley which is north of the Khanui river. It is 17 km. from Dari Ekh dugan in the Tumur valley. Tumurt valley is 90 km. from the sum center. The Khanui bag center is in the vicinity of the site.
