Түшээт хан аймгийн Говь түшээ гүний хошууны томоохон хурал номын газруудын нэг байсан Хутагт ламын хийдийг сэргээн 1990 оны хавар анхны хурлаа хийжээ.Тус хийдийг сэргээн хурал номын үйлийг жигдлэхэд хуучин Хутагт ламын хийдэд шавилан сууж байсан Даваа,хоёр Цэрэнчимэд,хоёр Содном,Жийжаа,Дугар,Баасан нарын өвгөн лам хуврагууд мөн сумын намын дарга байсан Найдан нарын хүмүүс идэвхи санаачлага гарган зохион байгуулж сүсэгтэн олны дэмжлэгээр босгожээ.Анх өвгөн настай 20-иод ламтай хурал эхэлж байсан ба тэр үед хамба нь Даваа лам байжээ.2006 оноос эхлэн өдөр тутмын цогчин хуралтай болсон түүнээс өмнө зөвхөн зуны улиралд л цогчин уншлагатай байж өвөлдөө зөвхөн дүйцэн өдрүүдээр л хурдаг байжээ.Опоо өдөр тутмын цогчин хурлаас гадна сарын дүйцэн өдрүүдээр шинийн 8,15-нд Дарь эхийн мандал шиваа,29-нд арван хангал хурж байна.Хийдийн шүтээн сахиусын тухайд Барь ламын хийдийн шүтээн байсан Гомбо,Лхам, Хутагт ламын хийдийн шүтээн байсан улаан Жамсран сахиусыг сахиус шүтээнээ болгожээ. Одоогийн энэ шинэ модон дуган 2004 онд ашиглалтанд оржээ.Барь ламын хийд болон Хутагт ламын хийдээс нийлээд ойролцоогоор 100 гаруй лам хувраг 1937,1938 оны үеийн хэлмэгдүүлэлтэнд өртсөн ба энэхүү лам нарын дурсгалд зориулж тэдний үр ач нар төрөл төрөгсөдөөс 2000 онд нэгэн бодь суваргыг тус хийд дээр босгожээ.Хуучин хийдийн сахиусны дуганы туурин дээр нэг монгол гэр барьж орон нутгийн шашны зан үйл, эд өлгийн зүйлсийг харуулсан жижиг музей байгуулсан нь сонирхолтой үзмэр болжээ. Тус Гүндүүжамбаалин хийд нь лам нарын тоо чанар, аж ахуй материаллаг баазын хувьд бэхжиж хурал номын үйл ажиллагаа нь тогтворжсон манай хөдөө орон нутгийн хийдүүдийн нэг ажээ. /Гүндүүжамбаалин хийдийн тэргүүн лам Батэрдэнэтэй хийсэн ярилцлагаас/. / 2007.06.30/

The present temple building has a northern chapel, where the 3 large golden sculptures of Buddha, Tsongkhapa and Manjushri, representatives of Lkham, Bragri Lam Damtsigdorj with his last incarnation, and some old sculptures and ceremonial cups are placed. A holy water well is on the site as well. In front of the temple stands a platform for calling the monks to the ceremony. The abbot of the monastery lives on the right side of this place. The Bodhi stupa was erected in 2000 for the memory of the victims of the purge. The names of old monks of the monastery who were arrested, imprisoned and sentenced, are carved on plates on the sides of the stupa. Only some of them returned after being arrested. The building of the stupa was organised by T. Mönkhbayar. Beside this stupa two yurts function as museums of religion, showing the books, composed by Damtsigdorj, the first incarnation of Bragri lama, many old ritual objects, musical instruments, old terracotta and other decorations, which were discovered on the old site of the old monastery. Ongiin khiid san (fund) was established on the initiative of the relatives of the purges victims. The bodhi stupa was erected from this support.

According to M Bat-Erdene, who has been the abbot of the monastery since 2004, about 20 old monks belonged to the community when the monastery was revived in 1991. They moved to the centre of Saikhan ovoo sum in 1994 and came back in 2001. Since that time permanent ceremonies are held here. The melodies follow the rules of the old Bragri lam tradition. N. Davaa was the abbot of the monastery until 2004. Presently 14-15 monks belong to the monastery, mostly young novices. Daily and monthly ceremonies are held such as Dari ekhiin mandal shivaa and Manal on the 8th of the month, Sanduin jüd ceremony is held on the 15th, Sakhius on the 29th and Naidan chogo on the 30th of the month. Gombo and Lkham are the protector deities of the monastery as they were of the old Bragri lamin khiid. The Lamiin chodviin dugan, where ceremonies are held in the summer, was re-built on its old site in 2004. The monastery has connections with Delgeriin Choir monastery of Zava Lam Damdin, in Delgertsogt sum. For example, monks of Gündüjambaalin monastery go there for the occasion of Maitreya circumambulation. Presently, there are no monks with gelen or getsel vows. The abbot of the monastery lives in the place permanently with his family. Presently the monastic site is a part of the program organised for foreign tourists travelling to the Gobi. There is an art shop where relics can be bought dated from 13th to 19th century. The entrance ticket for he monastic area is 2$. Further information www.onggiriver.com On the site of the old summer residence of Bragri lam, a yurt operates as a museum, housing the collected works composed by Bragri lam Damtsigdorj, such as his famous Lkham Mam Tugon text. The reprint of these volumes was supported by Gurudeva rinpoche. An old picture of the complex, old religious objects, musical instruments and traditional pots and vessels are also on show in the yurt. A bigger yurt situated next to the base/foundation of the old main assembly hall, is used to exhibit old bricks, terracotta fragments, nicely decorated pillars and other objects, which were found in the ruins of the old monastery and its surroundings. Winter ceremonies are held in this yurt. According to the abbot the bricks were delivered and used for building houses during the socialist period. Many bricks were brought back by the monastery to construct religious buildings in the area. In the socialist period a brigade operated in the area of the monastic site. Jamiin ovoo and many other ovoos (7-8) are worshipped. The melodies of the texts, being recited on the ceremonies following to rules prescribed and introduced by Bragri lama. The data on Active Temples was collected in 2006 (UB) / 2007 (National Survey). It provides a snapshot of the revival of the monasteries in Mongolia at that time. Undoubtedly many things will have changed since this survey was done.
