It is not a working temple. Inside a fence, there is a stupa on the left, in front of a building. The building itself is a one/storey residential building, which was started to be turned into a temple. The roof was taken off at some places, and high poles were put in / as if they wanted to form a second storey in the middle, and make it look like a temple. In the courtyard an old woman lives, called Tsegmediin Doljinsüren, who was born in 1929, and who was he adopted child of the head of Tsorjiin khiid, one of the old monasteries in the area. According to her, the stupa was erected about 4-5 years ago (maybe 2002-2003). She says that the temple is being built on the initiative of the present incarnation of Zava Damdin (Luvsandarjaa monk). The surveyors suppose that the construction of the temple (transforming the building into a temple) was started years ago and left unfinished, as the conditions of the site suggest it. In the surveyors` opinion the building of the temple was left unfinished, but maybe it will be finished and will soon be a working temple, therefore it was registered.

The data on Active Temples was collected in 2006 (UB) / 2007 (National Survey). It provides a snapshot of the revival of the monasteries in Mongolia at that time. Undoubtedly many things will have changed since this survey was done.
