According to J. Dagvasambuu, the disciplinary monk of the monastery, the tradition of Tavin jas monastery was revived in 1990 when the first assembly was held. The present building of Dashchoinkhorlin datsan was built in 1995. Its opening ceremony was held in 1996. The first abbot of the revived monastery was Luvsanbaldan monk, who was a monk in Shine Shavi monastery before the purges. Firstly, about 20-30 old monks of Adaatsag sum belonged to the monastery, but now only 4-5 are still alive, such as Bazar monk (old Khorin jas), Chültem khamba (old Tavin jas), Yondonprelei monk (old Zuutiin khiid) and Adzan (vho is living in the countryside and who probably belonged to Tsakhiurt, Choir before the purges). Presently, the head of the monastery is Lkhagva lovon, a ded lam. There is a baga lam as well, 2 chanting masters, and one disciplinary master. There are no fully ordained monks in the monastery but there are some getsels. G. Erdenebat the ded khamba of the monastery is a lüijin master as well. The texts requested by individuals have fixed prices. The main protector of the temple is Lkham.
Dashchoinkhorlin datsan is the name of 50 jas monastery, according to Dagvasambuu, the disciplinary master. However, Chültem monk didn’t confirm this, though he was a monk of the old Tavin jas. According to Chültem monk, the monastic tradition was revived in 1991. Firstly it operated in a yurt, then the local agricultural cooperative provided a two-storey building for the assembly. Lkham protector, saved by the monks of the old monastery, was placed to the altar as the main protector of the revived monastery. The Maitreya of the Tavin jas was circumambulated from 1992, which was presented to the monkhood by Metügwa / Myataw the monk of the old (and revived) Delgeriin Choir. Later the two-storey building was destroyed and the new temple building begun to be built. As the money of the community was not enough for the construction of the temple building, believers and devotees supported its building by donations of money, flocks, etc. The highest donation (5000 Tgr) was given by Dorjdamba. When 800,000 Tgrs were together, 4 young men built the temple. Chültem monk is one of the revivers of his old monastery.

The data on Active Temples was collected in 2006 (UB) / 2007 (National Survey). It provides a snapshot of the revival of the monasteries in Mongolia at that time. Undoubtedly many things will have changed since this survey was done.
