Status of site at time of survey :
A stupa was built on the monastic site in 2006. The stupa is now (2007) in bad state of repair. There are almost no remains on the site. The road crosses a kind of foundation, made of pebbles, of a building near the stupa. Two ovoos were erected on the area – and some stones (probably old foundations) are visible on the ground. A second part of the site has foundations of new buildings and probably old buildings, too. However it is difficult to determine their age. An offering cup and other object were found on the site.

According to Dawaagiin Ad-Zana, monk of the new temple in Adaatsag Sum, born in 1935, living in Bayanönjüül Sum who provided information on the old monasteries of the old Bayanbaraat sum, the new stupa was built on the monastic site in 2006. About 70 monks held ceremonies here before the purges. There was only one temple. Tserenpuntsog monk, who is the present abbot of Dashchoinkhorlin monastery in the centre of Töv aimag (Zuunmod), once belonged to Baraatiin jas. The head of the assembly was Danzan gelen. Baraatiin Uul was worshipped by monks, which is situated north-west of the site. Baraatiin shand is very close to the site. Jamsran was the main protector of the assembly.
