The site is 70Km from the sum centre and sits on a flat land surrounded by mountains, such as Builsangiin khyar, which is to the north-west, Khanztyn khyar, which is to the north and Bayan khyar, which is to the south.

Status of site at time of survey :
There are the remains of at least 50 buildings - ruins and foundations - on the site. When the monastery was closed, a Russian Mongolian military base was established on the site. The temple buildings were demolished and the materials used for building the new military facilities. As such, it is hard to distinguish which remains are from the monastery and which are military units. It seems that one of the remains on the site is a temple building.

It’s hard to distinguish which buildings belonged to the monastery and which ones to military units. But one temple building’s ruins remain at the site. There are at least 50 buildings outlines. The site is 70 km from the sum centre.
