B.Rinchen: Tsavshir Valley This site is located 40 km. east of the sum centre and across a river. In the west of the historical site is an owoo called Bagiin Owoo. This area used to be called Amnii Us Shand (The Drinking Water Stream) or Jasiin Shand (The Stream of Shand).

Only an elevation and same scattered fragments of vases and pots indicate the place of the old monastic site. A family lives in its south in three yurts. Tsavchir River is not a permanent river. It is on the west of the site. The name Naidan khural is not familiar to local people. Its well-known name is Tsavchiriin jas.

Notes :
Puntsogiin Badamochir living in the centre of Bayantsagaan sum, was born in 1921, had been a monk in Bambar Erdene lamiin khüree (present Sergelen sum). According to this informant, Naidan jas or Tsavchiriin jas was situated at Tsavchir valley (Khöndii) or Tsawchir gol (river) on the east of the sum centre. There was only one temple building. The monks used to worship the ovoo called Batiin ovoo, which was on the east of the site. It is still worshipped. The well of the monks was near, at the river of Tsavchir. It was in the area subordinated to the Bogd and his ecclesiastical estate (Bogdiin shavi or Ikh shavi) According to the informant, Baljidiin Khanddulam (born in 1923), living in Bayantsagaan, there were two buildings in this jas. There was one temple building. There was no stupa there. Tsavchiriin gol river was on the South of the site.
