Description of location :
It is 60-70 Km south-west of the sum centre behind the Berkhiin ovoo. Guyengiin us (well) lies on the south-east side of the site.

Status of site at time of survey :
The foundations of a temple building are visible behind an animal winter shelter. The stairs of the temples is also visible. Southwest of the temple remains, some other stones can be seen in two places. There is no trace of digging. Some fragments of pots etc were found. The assembly stood in a wonderful location surrounded by mountains.

According to D. Ad-Zana (born 1935) monk in the new temple in Adaatsag, who lived in the area when he was a child, Güyengiin jas was situated on the bank of the Güyengiin us, behind Bekh uul, which was worshipped by monks. Güyengiin jas was a small assembly. Its protector was Namsrai deity. 30-50 monks belonged to the monastery and came on special occasions from Bogdiin Khüree. Isdemberel was a famous monk in the assembly. Güyengiin khudag is on the southeast side. (His wife’s father had been a monk here.) Wood from the temple of Güyengiin jas was used to build the club building in the old centre of Önjüül Sum.
