Description of location :
The site 25Km north-east of the sum centre on the road from Khar Shand to Ulaanbaatar. Ejirgiin us is on the east side of the site.

Status of site at time of survey :
At the site an agricultural cooperation (Negdel) was situated after the 1930s. Its buildings were built at the site of the old Jas. Later, when the agricultural cooperation was ended, all the buildings were burnt down as the people left it. The stone base or foundation of the old temple building is situated at the back of the burnt down cooperation building. It is 10 x 9 steps size. Pieces of brass pots and other equipments were found on the site. In front of the temple building the burned cooperation building can be seen. There is not more on the site. Perhaps there were old Jas buildings or monks residences, but were used later as cooperation buildings. On the west of the old temple building (was shown to us by the old monk Ad-Zana) there are some smaller elevations of the ground.

Informant Davaagiin Ad-Zana, monk of the new temple in Adaatsag Sum, born in 1935. According to him, it was situated at the 5-6th Bag of the old Bayanbaraat. It had about 50-60 monks. Dashnyamba was the chanting master (unzad). Later he was local governor in Bayanbaraat and became a monk again in 1990 in Zuunmod, but he has passed away. The monks’ well, Ejirgiin Us is on the south of the Jas site.
