Notes :
Informant Puntsogiin Badamochir, is living in the centre of Bayantsagaan sum. He was born in 1921 and had been a monk in Bambar Erdene Lamiin Khüree (in present Sergelen Sum). According to him, this jas was situated in a place called Övör Zülegt, to the east of the Sum centre. There was only one temple building, a simple building. The monks used to worship the ovoo Övgön Tsagaan Ovoo that was situated on the south-east. (It is worshipped up to now.) The monks’ well was on the south-east. This is in the area that was subordinated to the Bogd and his estate (Ikh Shavi, Bogdin Shavi). The site was shown to the surveyors by Ochiriin Tserendulam, an old lady aged 85. According to her Bayan Namsrai deity (the deity of wealth) was worshiped here. There was only one monk residing here and guarding the temple and making offerings. Dendeviin Banzragch (an old man aged 77 who also lives nearby) said this must have had a bigger number of monks as the monastery had many flocks and herds of animals.
