Description of location :
The site is located north of Tekh river, 500 m. southeast of the sum center. South of the site is Devjid Lkha mountain, east is Undur Ulaan mountain, southwest is Delger öndör mountain and to the north is Uran uul mountain. West of the site (5-7 km.)are local worshissped ovoos including Battsagaan, Mergen and Shijin bavuu.

Status of site at time of survey :
The ruins of tsogchen dugan (main assembly hall temple) are clearly visible. A cooperative creamery used to operate on the site from 1960-1970. Thus, some concrete foundation remains on the site.

Notes :
In the list of academician B.Rinchen, the site is registered as "2 sumiin khural" (khural of two temples). This is incorrect. The correct version could be "2 sumyn khural" (khural of two sums). The reason is that in the past there were two sums: Baruun and Zuun Tsakhar. History tells that those two sums established this monastery jointly. This monastery was called among the public as "Tsakharyn khuree" (monastery of Tsakhar). Residents of Baruun and Zuun tsakhar soum were tsakhar people who were descendants of tsakhar people of Ligden Khan. The monastery was closed down in 1937. There was a cooperative creamery used to operate till 1993 on the site of the monastery. The last abbot of the monastery was Yanlig khamba.
